What would it be like to explore, process, and even learn to embrace our grief in community? Grounded in one of the five gates of grief presented by Francis Weller in The Wild Edge of Sorrow, we will express the individual and collective grief we experience for our world through the art of collage. Whatever it is that you are grieving about our changing world, come explore those feelings in this creative, communal space.
All materials will be provided. No prior collage experience needed. You need only bring a willingness to join in a community of compassionate support and creation.
This class is taught by Jackie Proulx (she/her), a Vermont-based artist, educator, and University of Vermont certified death doula. Through her business The Space Between, Jackie offers personalized direct doula support, community death education, and art workshops exploring different types of grief.
