Introduction to Stained Glass
Whether it is a suncatcher in your grandmother's window or the enormous windows in your church, stained glass has fascinated people for centuries.
The tools have gotten more refined and the glass has evolved with new technology but the beauty remains constant. At The MINT, we can all learn a trade that used to be limited to expert craftspeople!
This is a two-part class:
Sunday January 21 & Sunday, January 28, 9-11:30am
This introductory class will teach you the basic knowledge and skills to create beautiful stained glass pieces yourself! You will learn how to work safely, use tools
and create a small sun catcher with 2 pieces of glass. You will learn how to choose glass and prepare it for soldering (cutting, grinding, and foiling).
