This is a beginning-level workshop for folks who want to experience the joy and personal satisfaction of building your own ukulele. When the class concludes you get to take home a one-of-a-kind instrument.
We’ll build concert ukuleles in this class from a collection of components:
◦ Front and back Mahogany plates
◦ Delicately-bent Mahogany sides
◦ Rough-shaped Mahogany neck
◦ Cedar brace stock
◦ Rosewood or ebony bridge
◦ Zebrawood or ebony fingerboard
This is a four-session class, taking place on Saturdays:
March 4, 11, 18, 25 from 9:00am - 3:30pm (brown bag lunch)
Cost (includes materials): Members $500, Non-members $600
Limited to 5 students.
