Join us at The MINT for a summer of fun like no other!  On Tuesday, August 30th from 4-8pm we're building insect homes!  Fall is coming, and that means insects need places to build homes to stay safe over the winter. Learn how to build several different types of insect houses, while also using basic woodworking tools (chop saw, drill press, power driver). Leave with some homes to hang in your yard, ready for fall. 

This is a drop-off session for teens (generally kids 13+ but younger kids are welcome if they will be able to complete the project without caregiver help).  Bring dinner or a snack and a water bottle.  Pre-registration is required. $10 per person, with discounted registration for COVID Impacted families and free registration for SNAP, 3Squares and housing assistance.  Choose the registration option that matches your family situation, no proof of income is required.  Our summer programming is made possible through Expanding Access grant funding, administered by VT Afterschool.
