  • If you lost employment or housing due to the pandemic or consider your family "low income" feel free to pick this reduced registration pricing option.
  • If you currently receive SNAP or 3 Squares benefits or housing assistance from the state, please use this registration option.


Join us at The MINT for a summer of fun like no other!  On Tuesday, August 10th from 4-8pm we'll be creating wooden workbenches in the wood shop.  We'll be making one or two workbenches (so not every participant will take a workbench home) but the ones crafted during this session will be signed by the creators and go on to be used at The MINT.  Learn how to safely use the chop saw, power drivers and drills, and measure and cut accurately.  This is a drop-off session for teens (generally kids 13+ but younger kids are welcome if they will be able to complete the project without caregiver help).  Dinner will be provided.  Bring a water bottle.  Pre-registration is required. $10 per person, with discounted registration for COVID Impacted families and free registration for SNAP, 3Squares and housing assistance.  Choose the registration option that matches your family situation, no proof of income is required.  Our summer programming is made possible through Summer Matters grant funding, administered by VT Afterschool.
